Jakobs on the Swedish Island of Gotland

On the Swedish island of Gotland, lies this lovingly restored farm house from the beginning of the last century, with a mix of wonderful rustic features and Scandinavian decor.

Located on the west coast of the island, the house sits in just under 2 acres of gardens with several outbuildings including a woodcutting shed, modern sauna and large period barn.

Surrounded by beautiful nature, the house is a gentle bike ride from the sea and stunning coastline. The island is known as a home for artists, including the late Ingmar Bergman, high quality local food, and the charming medieval town of Visby.

Whether it's curling up by a log burning fire on a winter’s eve, or enjoying a glass of wine on a long summer evening, Jakobs is truly a peaceful and serene escape.
